Happy Chinese New Year, Kung Hei Fat Choi and Kiong Hee Huat Tsai! Today, January 23, 2012, is the first day of the Chinese New Year, which is also the year of the Water Dragon. We can see the lion and the dragon dance on the street bringing good luck and prosperity to every doorstep, especially on business establishments. We can also hear the deafening sound of firecrackers and see the spectacular light display of the fireworks which are believed to drive away bad spirits, negative energy and bad luck. The festival is considered one of the most important events for the Chinese community and culture anywhere in the world. Several countries, aside from China, have also declared this special day a non-working holiday.

Many business owners are hoping to have more money, wealth and fortune for this brand new Chinese Year. Now, the question is… will the year of the Water Dragon bring good luck to your business? Well, I’m not a Feng Shui expert and I’m not even a superstitious person, but I would say that this year can bring not only good luck but also good results to everyone if they would just do the right things.
