What are the top overseas jobs and work abroad available for Filipinos? There are many reasons why the Filipino people are trying their luck outside the country. One major reason is the lack of available local jobs that can provide us enough money to adequately finance our personal and family expenses. Other reasons include the dream to travel abroad, meeting foreigners, seeking for freedom and other reasons aside from the higher salary that can be earned while working with foreign companies and employers. Although leaving families and loved ones is, emotionally, a difficult thing to do, many Filipinos are not stopping from going abroad. Thus, our government is supporting them through certain overseas employment programs that aid Filipinos and Filipinas in finding jobs in other countries. If you are one of those persons who wish to hunt the right jobs abroad, you may consider your own education, skills and other capabilities, and take a look of the following hot jobs abroad.

Another popular work abroad is the job of a caregiver. Caregiver schools have been multiplied here in the Philippines. I even have classmates in college who have graduated accounting, but has pursued for a caregiver training to gain opportunities in working overseas. UK and Canada are in demand for caregivers. A caregiver is a person who assists the elderly by performing a number of tasks. Caregivers typically visit seniors in their homes, but may also be on the staff at a nursing care facility. Food servers are typically called waiters or waitress in a full-service restaurant. They are the ones who are responsible for taking orders for food and beverages from customers and then serve them the requested items. Hotels also need food servers. A food server abroad earns basic wage or salary from his employer. However, his or her big earnings are coming from the tips given by customers.

Also, please be aware and vigilant of illegal recruiters. For other important overseas employment inquiry, please visit www.owwa.gov.ph. Finally, in my personal opinion I still encourage Filipinos to pursue on business and entrepreneurship, instead of leaving our own family and country to become employees and laborers of foreign employers . Besides, we can also earn dollars right here in the Philippines, without leaving our loved ones.
