It’s more than just making people realize their mistakes and make promises to do better. Leadership is transforming people. And that’s not all that, leadership is also ensuring that this transformation will be in completion.

Leaders should not only focus on giving the right direction. They should not even just give the right destination. Leaders should go along with their people in walking the right direction. They should be there to cause acceleration. And when they reach their destination, leaders should put this success into reproduction. Success should not just be achieved, but it should also be multiplied after achievement. I know that those articles are still few in numbers. That is why in the next days to come, I’ll give more time in writing and publishing more stories that are related to leadership. There are still many topics that I want to discuss. This includes leadership in my own land – the Philippines. We still have a long way to reaching total economic and social progress. That is why we need more leaders who are not just talented and intelligent, but leaders who can make a significant difference. We need selfless and servant leaders who are not after for the money, fame and self-interest, but for the justice, righteousness and common progress.

We know that corruption in the government is one of the major reasons why most Filipinos are still suffering from poverty. However, self-corruption is also one of the major causes why many of us are poor and are not living a better life. This kind of corruption is even more difficult to overcome because it is a hidden and a silent problem which people don’t usually realize.
