They say if you want to succeed in business or in life, you have to choose your passion. You have to choose the one that you are passionate about. Yes, it’s true. Passion is one of the most important ingredients of success. But how can we tell that this is our passion? How can we find our passion?
Your passion might already been found by you, or probably, you have not found it yet. If you are still looking for your passion, you need to understand that it doesn’t come alone. Passion exists with companions. It has friends which are working with it.
Passion comes together with patience, positivity, and persistence. In other words, you cannot find your passion without the presence of those things. You cannot find your passion in the companion of impatience, doubt, and laziness.
If you want to find your passion in business, you have to know the business that you can be patient of, hopeful, and that you won’t quit.
Money cannot be your passion in business because if you will put your hope on money, you will not find long-lasting fulfillment.
You cannot be passionate about a certain business or product just because it is where currently money is flowing.
You cannot be passionate about a certain service or industry just because it is what’s hot and trending now.
Those kinds of things are temporary. What if money is not already flowing? What if the one you’ve chosen is now out of trend?
Passion lives along with patience because you are willing to suffer for it. You are willing to sacrifice instant money, profit and fortune for your real passion.
Passion comes along with positivity because you are hoping for something big on your passion. You are hoping for something that is more enduring and fulfilling than money and fortune.
Passion stays with persistence because it has a great impact on your life, and even in the lives of other people. Your real passion is something you can die for. It is worth a life because it aims to change the world and the lives of people.
Remember Bill Gates of Microsoft and Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook, they have dropped out their college at Harvard to pursue their passion. They made big decisions and sacrifice great things for their chosen passion in business and entrepreneurship. They did that because they know they can change the world.
If you want to find your passion, dig deeper within yourself. Develop your hidden skills and talents. Strengthen your values and principles. Don’t be alone, but find a mentor or coach who can tell you your potentials and how to polish them.
If you want to know that thing that you are really passionate about, look farther in the future. Look beyond the temporary benefits of money, fame and fortune.
If you want to find your passion in business, look for something that you will never quit because your life and the lives of other people are counting on it.
Your passion in business is not something that will make you happy because it is giving you a lot of money. But it is something that will give you fulfillment because you are making other people happy.
You can make other people happy and satisfied if you will do a business where you can give all your best, and even give your whole life on it.
So, have you already found your passion in business?
