How to Get Greenwich Pizza Franchise in the Philippines

June 28, 2011 Vic 2 Comments

The circle flat bread with different toppings sliced into several pizza pies and can be put into a pizza delivery box is perhaps one of the most famous types of bread and dish in the world. Partner it with pasta and lasagna, and you will have a tasty and cheesy serving on the table. This is what you will find at Greenwich Pizza – the Philippines favorite pizza chain. If you spend time watching Pinoy TV shows, you are probably familiar with the “cheesy” commercials of Greenwich featuring famous celebrities like John Lloyd Cruz and Anne Curtis. These humorous series of TV advertisements have already become so popular that their taglines have already become parts of the Filipino daily culture. Just yesterday, I had my lunch at Greenwich and decided to write this franchising information to share their slice of success to aspiring entrepreneurs who want to start their own Greenwich pizza chain franchise. The following are the things you need to know on how to get a Greenwich Pizza and Pasta chain or store in the Philippines.

What is Greenwich?
Greenwich is one of the leading pizza and pasta chains in the Philippines. Greenwich offers a menu filled with a wide variety of mouth-watering selections – from pizzas, pastas, chicken, rice dishes to desserts. It started as an over-the-counter pizza store in the Greenhills Commercial Center in Metro Manila in 1971. With the acquisition by its parent company Jollibee Foods Corporation, Greenwich has already experienced a rapid expansion, from 50 stores in 1994 to over 330 stores as of 2011. Every year since 1997, Greenwich has served more customers than any other pizza chain in the country.

What are the qualifications to become a Greenwich Franchisee?
Greenwich requires their franchisees to be:

The royalty fee is ten percent (10%) of gross sales. This fee will be used to provide the franchise store with support services (e.i mass media advertising)

How long will it take to get the investment back?
Payback period is between 3 and 4 years (depending on sales, marketing potential, investment and control of expenses).

What is the term of the franchise?
The term of the franchise agreement is ten (10) years and is renewable.

Who does the hiring of store management team?
