Our most favorite dishes, such as pork adobo, fried chicken and barbecue, come from meat.  That is why the meat industry is always a viable business for trading and supplying the daily food intake of people. This also means that a meat shop can be one of your best business choices to start if you want a good return on your investment. And when it comes to running your own meat shop business, franchising or becoming part of an already successful brand is a wise decision. Thus, you may consider one of the leading meatshop brand in the country – Monterey Meatshop. The following are important information, guide and steps on how to get a Monterey Meatshop franchise in the Philippines.

What is Monterey Meatshop?

Monterey Neighborhood Meatshops are stand-alone outlets that exclusively sell a wide range of Monterey pork and beef cuts, as well as Monterey Ready-to-Cook Meats, Magnolia Chicken, Purefoods hotdogs and other selected San Miguel products. Each Monterey Meatshop boasts of modern meat fabrication equipment and display showcase. It is manned by a crew of butchers and merchandisers trained in the Monterey Meat School-to assure customers of courteous and efficient service.

Why choose Monterey Meatshop Franchise?

Franchising for Monterey started in 1990 with only 4 meatshops. Due to the continuing patronage of many Filipino consumers, this number has increased significantly over the years. Today, Monterey’s franchised meatshops are found nationwide, distributing Monterey quality meats to Filipinos from Luzon to Mindanao. Monterey will continue to expand its franchise network, true to its commitment of providing Filipino families with world-class meat products. The following are some of the great reasons why you should choose franchising Monterey Meatshop:

The Monterey Franchise Formula:
Abundant Supply of High Quality Meats and Value-added Meat Products + Proven Business Plan + Marketing and Advertising Support = SURE INCOME FOR YOU!

Guaranteed Fresh, Guaranteed Disease-Free
Monterey meats are chilled via a unique, advanced blast-chilling process right after slaughter. This neutralizes bacterial growth and ensures that freshness and nutrients are locked in. Monterey meats are also checked daily by the National Meat Inspection Commission to guarantee that it is foot-and-mouth disease-free.

Leaner Meats
Monterey hogs and cattle are Grade-A imported breeds subjected to strict growing and feeding practices-for leaner, higher quality meats.

Improved Tenderness
At Monterey, hogs and cattle are handled with much care-from breeding up to slaughtering and storage. Its animals are rested just prior to processing to prevent muscles from becoming tough due to stress. This procedure helps improve meat tenderness.

We are interested in investing in a franchise but we have the following questions:
    A. what if we already have a location and a structure is already present, will there be a need for further /additional construction?
    B. what if the lot has a high volume of foot traffic but no area for parking? Our location is the parking area of buses, pujs and tricycles. It is beside a bank, figaro coffee shop and across a mall and market. Is it still necessary to have a parking area?
    C. with the above conditions, will we still be spending 3.1m? this is because we have heard on tv that the monterey franchiser started with only 1.1 m
