Wisdom is the ability to discern what is right from what is wrong to produce optimum judgments that can lead to effective and efficient actions. Wisdom is vital if you want to reach your business goals and achieve its optimal success. As business owners, entrepreneurs, marketers and managers need to face day-to-day decision making responsibilities, it’s important that they attain the right wisdom to make the wisest of their decisions. But how can we have such wisdom? The following will guide us in searching for that.
Not all wisdom are equal in power
Not all wisdom can give us the best results. Yes, all wisdom can guide us to the most effective and efficient decisions, but for what kind of decisions? There is wisdom to destruction and there is also wisdom to life. There is wisdom that has evil intents and there is also wisdom that has heavenly intents. The more powerful wisdom is the one that comes from Heaven. It is the wisdom that is directed to the long-term goals and even to everlasting objectives. It is the wisdom that can give your customers constant satisfaction, the wisdom that can make your employees really happy, and the wisdom that can make you a contented and fulfilled business person.
Expand your search for wisdom
If you’re an entrepreneur, you should explore the unexplored. If you’re a marketer, gather more customers’ feedback. If you’re a manager give more time to listen to your subordinates. Wisdom is what we earn from gathering knowledge and optimizing it for better judgments and decisions. Thus, the more we know things, the more we realize the better things. But to know and realize more, we also need to invest more time, energy, attention and even more money for letting go some profit opportunities. Remember that in every great thing we want to achieve, we need to make big sacrifices.
Deepen your search for wisdom
If there’s a place where you can find the greatest wisdom, it is in your inner self. We can find wisdom around us, and we can also find it within us. We can find wisdom from travelling to many places, but we can find more wisdom by digging inside ourselves. Thus, let’s start digging not only on our own mind or our own heart, but let’s extend the digging unto the deeper part of ourselves – our spirits. This is because our brain can be corrupted by malicious thoughts and our heart can be resided by evil intents. But our spirits, as long as we live, will remain the part of us that is pure, though it maybe sleeping.
What’s in our inner self?
Our inner self gives us the knowledge and wisdom that we inherited from our Creator. One proof is our inner conscience that condemns us whenever we do something wrong to other people. Another proof is the unexplainable joy that we felt when we make other people happy through sharing our possessions and by helping them. Then there is also the gentle peace we felt when we forgive people. Well, if you haven’t yet tried to sincerely help other people or forgive those that have sinned to you, then you might not understand those proofs.
Nevertheless, the wisdom that comes from our inner self and from our spirit is the one which we can use greatly in our business. A clean conscience will direct business persons to produce quality products that satisfy their consumers. The leaders and managers’ joy will help them to make their people more motivated and productive. While inner peace can make an entrepreneur more zealous and focused. But how can one find his inner self? The secret to that is to be selfless, and the secret to becoming selfless… is to live your life with the unseen spiritual things. Live your life in loving people; do your business by helping people. Live your life in preserving the truth; do honest and sincere business. Remember that the more you realize the unseen things, the more you become spiritual and selfless. Therefore, be a wise business person.
