If you’re a brilliant marketer and a creative advertiser, you should not miss the 46th Super Bowl’s most anticipated commercials this year. Companies are spending an average of $3.5 million for a 30 second television ad! But of course that will be in front of 100 million-plus Super Bowl 46 viewers. Spending on a $3.5 million dollar half-minute commercial sounds very expensive, but when the ad is created and delivered right on its target audience, it can be prolific.
The Super Bowl XLVI is an American football game between the American Football Conference (AFC) champion (New England Patriots) and the National Football Conference (NFC) champion (New York Giants) that will decide who will be the National Football League (NFL) champion for the 2011 season. The most anticipated football game of the year is scheduled to be played on Sunday, February 5, 2012, at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana. It will start at 6:30 p.m. EST.
The big game which will be held in a retractable roof stadium draws hundred of millions of spectators not only in America, but also in the social media where people around the world create a buzz everyday. Expect millions of viewers on Youtube on those Super Bowl commercials, especially the ones which are perfectly designed to capture the attention of their audience. I’m sure these videos will also be shared and circulated on Facebook on the day of the big game.
It’s a great event of the year not only for football fanatics, but also for marketers, consumers, and even for music artists who will perform during the big night. That is why all news and media people are keeping their eyes on the Super Bowl this year.
