Business registration

Establishing a company or business in the Philippines require various legal and government requirements. These registration processes and requirements vary depending on the type of industry and form of ownership of a business. To give you practical ideas and list of these requirements, you can read the following articles posted within our blog.

Taxation in the Philippines

If you want to be a business owner, you have to deal with taxes. Taxes in the Philippines can be either local or national. You will determine your local business taxes when you apply for a business permit in the local government unit (i.e., barangay, municipality, city and province). However, most of the taxes that will require you a lot of work or money are national taxes – the taxes governed by the National Internal Revenue Code and collected by the BIR. These include your income tax, percentage tax or VAT, withholding taxes, and other taxes that may be imposed to your type of business. For your reference, you can check out the following posts:

Growing your business

Of course you should not just be ready and be equipped with the knowledge on how to start your business right, but you should also know how to continue it and achieve success. Starting a business is just a little part of doing business. That is why you have to continue learning and finding new ways to grow your business. You have to learn how to manage your people or employees. You also have to know how to deal with your customers. Furthermore, you also need to be responsible with the public or society. Finally, to grow your business, you should also constantly grow yourself personally to be a better business person.
