Perhaps you are thinking about a secret formula to find within this post. Maybe you’re also looking and expecting for a secret key to business success, stability, profitability or a bunch of riches to find after reading this post. Well, I believe that I’m sharing not only a secret key, but also an ultimate key to success. I also know that this advice will not only give you bunch of riches, but also imperishable wealth and riches. I don’t want to make this introduction any longer so here it is.
The best business advice
The best business advice I ever got is to have a self-oriented business. Does it sounds lackluster? Maybe you’re now thinking why a self-oriented business system could become the best advice ever. Why not the customer-oriented business principle instead? Why should a self-oriented person become ultimately successful in entrepreneurship, marketing, management or in any activities that the business world can offer? A self-oriented man even sounds like a selfish and a greed person who will not do good in business. At this point what I told may become uninspiring to you. But keep reading and I will turn on the light even brighter.
The self-oriented person
A self-oriented person can go into different ways depending on his principles, values and understanding of himself and the things around him. For example, one can think that money and fame are the things that can put himself in the best situation. Another man can also think that honor, trustworthy and integrity are the things that can place him in the best situation. The kind of self-orientation I am talking is the latter. I’m referring to the self-oriented person who considers that the permanent things, such as honor, glory, peace, integrity, joy and contentment are the things that can give him the best for himself.
A truly self-oriented person will not put himself into the destruction caused by envy, violence, greed, deceit and other wickedness which are prone to persons who are exposed to business and money itself. Instead, he will choose to hold on to things that bring him peace of mind, fulfillment, thankfulness, real happiness and lasting wealth. In other words, he loves himself and he wants to earn perpetual gains by helping others.
The fundamental power
To increase your sales and revenues, you need to attract and keep more customers. And to attract more customers, you need to become customer-oriented. A customer oriented entrepreneur or marketer assures the quality of his products to satisfy his customers. This becomes his key to gain more clients or customers.
To assure quality in your products or services, you need to ensure productivity inside your production system. To ensure productivity, you need to maintain highly motivated workers or employees. And to motivate them, you need to become people-oriented. You need to treasure relationship and learn how to sacrifice things.
To achieve real business success, we need to sacrifice a lot of things. We even need to let go some of the quick profits just to assure that long-term profits will come to us in the future. Ensuring the satisfaction of our customers can bring us additional costs and expenses. For greedy business owners who want to achieve instant money, they would never produce products that will bring them financial losses.
Furthermore, inspiring and making your employees happy also require great sacrifices. You need to invest more money and time spent to motivate them. For selfish employers who don’t care for the welfare and development of their workers, they will not dare to increase their employee benefit expense – they can’t afford to increase loss in their income statement. Only a selfless business person can manage to incur losses just to ensure that his customers are satisfied and his employees are happy.
The advice is simple but not easy
A self-oriented person can easily become a customer-oriented, employee oriented, public-oriented, law-oriented and even environment-oriented business person. Self-orientation is the root of all good business advices. It’s simple but not easy. It might be hard for us, but that is how real life goes. The best business advice I ever got is simply to become self-oriented – to love others as you love yourself.
