Are you wondering what the most searched brands in the Philippines are? Let’s ask Google for that. The search engine giant has just released its Zeitgeist for the year 2012, which is a collection of lists of the most frequent search queries that people typed into Google search engine this year.
Google said that they have analyzed over a trillion searches in 146 languages to build the 2012 Zeitgeist which has 838 lists covering 55 countries, including the Philippines.
The Zeitgeist includes the list of top trending searches, people, news, images, and other queries all over the world. Google also provided data of the most popular and most searched queries in the Philippines for 2012, such as the top 10 trending searches, people, news, image searches, songs, TV shows, travel destinations, gadgets, and more.
Aside from the top 10 trending lists, which are search queries that had the highest amount of traffic over a sustained period in 2012 as compared to 2011, the Zeitgeist also includes the most searched queries. The most searched queries are the most popular terms for 2012—ranked in order of the queries with the largest volume of searches – according to Google.
One of the lists for the most searched queries is the most searched brands in the Philippines for 2012. Apple, which released its iPad 3 in October 2012 and iPhone 5 in September this year, topped the list. Below is the list of the top 10 most searched brands in the Philippines for 2012 according to Google Zeitgeist.
