If you’ll ask me a business tip today, I say treat your employees the way you want them to be.
If you want them to be trustworthy, trust them and invest in the development of their personal and professional abilities – provide them training and continuing education to make them more competent, empowered and trustworthy. Remember that investing in them is trusting them.
If you want your employees to become productive, treat them like they are productive by giving them more benefits and incentives. If they, themselves, will feel productive with the extraordinary salaries and wages they receive, they would surely be happier and more motivated to work harder.
If you wish your workers to stay in your company, treat them like they want to stick with your company. Don’t treat them as if they will leave you in the very near future that you will not already care for their continuing development. Treat them like they are your business’ long-term assets. Include them in your company’s long-term goals. Take note that even if your workers intend to stay in your company permanently, if they will feel like you are not caring for their long-term welfare, they would certainly think of leaving you.
What your employees will become is what your business will be. You cannot have a good business without good employees. You cannot have a successful company without workers who are successful in their own. You cannot be an effective employer if your employees are not functioning well.
So if you want your employees to become the ideal workers you think of, treat them like that. Besides, they should be treated well in the first place, right?
We hire people or employees to become part of our business. And since they should be part of our business, we have to treat them fairly and especially like how we treat our whole business.
I hope this business and management tip will give you an idea on how to make your business more successful. Remember that this is only a tip or some sort of a tip of the iceberg. It’s still you who will find out more tips, keys and ways to make your specific business successful in its own way.

I guess this idea does not limit only to an employer-employee relationship. It is always important that we should always treat people the way we want them to treat us to have a harmonious relationship with one another at all times.

Thanks Felix. I agree with you.
