To be a successful entrepreneur, you don’t need to start big. You don’t need to become intimidating to drive off your competitors and claim the biggest share in the market.
As an entrepreneur, you don’t just need to beat your competitors but you also need to defy yourself. Being scary or intimidating because you have a lot of money (capital) can make you a formidable rival to your business competitors. However, money can’t really help you overcome yourself or your self-doubt.
Even if your enterprise is big or even if your business has a lot of financial equity, you can still have fear and doubts on yourself. Even if your competitors see you as a scary rival, it doesn’t make you fearless.
What makes a person a true entrepreneur is not the size of his enterprise or the fact that he can overcome his competitors.
What makes someone a true entrepreneur is fearlessness, not scariness.
When you’re fearless, you don’t need to declare war or challenge your business competitors aggressively. Your fearlessness simply creates a reputation for you that naturally scares off your rivals even if you’re just ignoring them.
Fearlessness removes your doubts to innovate, to go out of your comfort zone and to create limitless realities that will make your customers’ or the people’s lives better.
If you are fearless, you don’t give a shit about the obstacles in front of you. You develop focus, hard work and tenacity to go on and achieve your entrepreneurial goals.
Of course entrepreneurship starts with your passion – your will to make a dream happen. But passion comes to a point where it begin to fade. You will come to a stage where you feel like giving up. But with fearlessness, you continue to move on. You become unafraid. You restore your passion.
So if you want to become a true entrepreneur and start a real enterprise, don’t wait for a large amount of money or equity to start your dream. Don’t wait for yourself to earn the perfect training, skill, knowledge or experience. Don’t wait until you make yourself big or fully grown, financially, professionally and personally.
Don’t waste time. Most of the important things and lessons you can gain on entrepreneurship is found along the way. Don’t waste your precious time waiting at the start without stepping forward.
Be fearless. Be brave not because you have nothing to lose, but because you cannot lose. Be bold because you want to protect your focus from being distracted by fears and worries. Be courageous because you have a dream, a mission, and a defined goal to succeed.
Be fearless because you believe in yourself and in the people who need your ideas and solutions.
